Bill Gates is one of the most famous book lovers. He reads at least 50 books each year.
In autumn he releases a holiday reading list with the best books he has read since January. This year, he decided to try something different.
💬 Rather than limit myself to things I’ve read over the previous twelve months, I instead picked books regardless of when I finished them.
Here are the five books he has recommended to his family and friends over the years:
â–¸ Best introduction to grownup sci-fi: Stranger in a Strange Land, by Robert Heinlein
â–¸ Best memoir by a rock star: Surrender, by Bono
â–¸ Best guide to leading a country: Team of Rivals, by Doris Kearns Goodwin
â–¸ Best guide to getting out of your own way: The Inner Game of Tennis, by Robert Gallwey
▸ Best book about the periodic table: Mendeleyev’s Dream, by Paul Strathern
